WHO: Open to Local Florida Artists able to hand deliver and pick up artworks to SRQ East Art Studios (SEAS) at 8326 Consumer Ct., Sarasota FL 34240
Drop off and pick up windows are firm - no flexibility

WHAT: Area artists are encouraged to submit their best work (painting, wall hanging, framed photography, sculpture space limited) and to present pieces that demonstrate technical skill and mastery of their chosen medium.

DEADLINE: Space is limited!!! Reserve your entry – $20 ENTRY FEE (pay fee and drop off art Friday, January 30, 5-7pm OR Saturday, January 31, 11am-1pm) – only one submission per artist. Pay fee through Venmo to @srqeast 

ART DROP OFF: Physical artwork must be dropped off at SRQ East Art Studios on either Friday, January 30, 5-7pm OR Saturday, January 31, 11am-1pm

ART PICK UP: Physical artwork must be picked up Saturday, March 28, 3-5pm OR Monday, March 30, 5-7pm

EXHIBITION: An evening reception with refreshments will take place on Saturday, February 7 from 5-7pm at SRQ East Art Studios (SEAS). There will be a second public viewing during open studios on Saturday, March 28, 12-3pm.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

• Use the color blue as a dominant or defining visual element

• Artwork Size: 36” inches wide maximum - or less. 

• Canvases should be gallery depth, aka 1.5” in depth, or artwork must be framed, unless it is a finished wall hanging.

• Artwork must have proper hanging hardware - D rings and wire preferred. NO GLASS in frames. If your work is not ready to hang, it will not be part of the exhibition.

• We reserve the right to deny any submission (entry fee will be refunded).

• $20 ENTRY FEE – only one submission per artist. 

• Pay fee through Venmo to @srqeast 

The exhibition will be not juried, with people's choice winners announced during the exhibition and publicized during our newsletter and promos. 

There is a 20% commission on any works sold at the event.
